Project Scope: Provided full M/E/P/FP engineering design services to convert an 1876 warehouse into a state-of-the-art broadcasting studio.

• Building performance energy simulation, photovoltaic analysis and 3D daylight modeling used to develop energy efficient, electrical systems

• ​Building Automation System with several enhancements specified to provide monitoring, Direct Digital Control, and central management of HVAC systems

• HVAC system included eight central station variable volume air handling units

• Base heating plants were downsized

Results: Energy savings came in at 39.5% above a 90.1 compliant building and reduced utility expenses by $124,100.00 per year. This project achieved LEED Platinum Certification.
