IBC Engineering was responsible for all MEP & FP engineering for a 22,000 sq ft OR / ICU addition to the existing facility. This work included the commissioning of an energy recovery system designed to recapture capacity from the existing central plant allowing for a net zero capacity increase to the hospital HVAC heating and cooling plant requirements.

Masonic Skilled Nursing Facility / Wiley Hall Assisted Living

IBC Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for two separate construction projects. The projects encompassed design services for a 313,000 square foot, 320 bed addition and renovation to an existing Skilled Nursing Facility and 83,000 sq ft, 80 bed Assisted Living Adult Home.  Design included a large, open winter garden and Gathering Den and wireless Nurse Call System.  Design also included the construction of a new commercial kitchen and dining facilities.

Soldiers & Sailors Hospital ED Expansion and Hospital Renovations

This project included expansion and upgrades to the existing Emergency Department. The expansion added triage, three new treatment rooms, bereavement room, clean supplies storage, three offices, staff lockers, break room and toilet. Renovations provided two isolation rooms and a two-bed pre-admission room, enclosed existing treatment rooms and upgraded nurse’s station. The project also included the relocation, expansion and renovation of the Cardiac rehab, Central Sterile, information Services and pharmacy Departments
