Practicing Engineer

 

Responsibilities:

Engineer with responsibility for applying intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas. Uses advanced techniques, theory, precepts and practices in a specialized engineering field and related sciences and disciplines. Plans, coordinates and directs a large and important engineering project or a number of smaller projects with many complex features. Serves as technical specialist, staff advisor and consultant to a technical specialty, a type of facility or equipment, or a program function. Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures to create new or refined equipment, materials, processes or methods.

 

Preferred Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Valid state Professional Engineer’s license preferred or being pursued. Minimum of five years of relevant progressive experience.
